Vaccinations

All dogs and cats must be properly vaccinated before they enter our kennels and these vaccinations must be certified by a vet. The following is a good guide to use:-

• Dogs, three years and under, should have their puppy vaccinations certified and their annual boosters given on time, up to the time of boarding.
• Puppy or primary vaccinations are easy to identify on your dogs veterinary card as they will always be given within a two to three week period of each other
• Annual boosters should have been given within twelve months of these
• All dogs should be vaccinated against Bordetella (kennel cough) before coming into kennels. It is advisable if not already given to have your dogs vaccinated for Bordetella (kennel cough) at least 3 weeks in advance. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is not an injection- it is a live vaccine which is sprayed into the dog’s nostrils .
• Dogs 4 years and over must show at least a two year vaccination history including Bordetella (kennel cough.)

Cats should have at least two years vaccination history unless it is a young cat when you will need to show that it has received its primary vaccination and an annual booster where applicable.
