About Us

Best Kennels and Catterie has come from my dream for many years to provide excellent care for pets when their owners are on holiday or ill or need to travel for any other reason. We have been involved with animals all of our life. Currently we are the owners of four dogs, two cats, a couple of horses and a dozen or so chickens. We have a really good understandig of your pet's requirements when you are not around.

We bought this property with the intention of building Best Kennels and Catterie.Our purpose built kennels were designed by ourselves and architect friend, David Moran. We were guided on the finer points in relation to hygene and health matters by our friend and vet Martin O Toole. We believe that our facilities situated on 40 acres is the Best alternative to your home for your pets while you are away.

 Our ambition is to provide the Best, safest, and most caring environment that we can for your pet.We are animal loving people and we will show this to your pet when you are not availible.

Health and Welfare policy
 To ensure that your pet is safe we will only accept pets that have fully upto date vaccinations, including kennel cough for dogs and flu for cats. All vaccination certificates must be brought when arriving with your pet.. All dogs must be wearing a collar and lead when being registered and cats must arrive in a cat box. Leaving and collecting your pet at Best Kennels and Cattery
Generally we would like you to arrive with us between 9 and 9.30 am or between 5 and 5.30 pm.However we will arrange this with you at the time of booking.We arrange to check in and check out all pets from our office.This ensures that we are causing as little disturbance to the pets already boarding with us.

GUARANTEE
We guarantee that when you collect your pet from their holiday with us and if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with their condition then we wll not charge you for their time with us.
